 Amongst the million other items my parents placed in their care-package for us (we're on self-quarantine at the apt/ 2nd holiday) - which also included fresh sheets, a bag of fruit, a bag of a thousand small shampoo/soap bottles and food to last way longer than 4 days. |

Most awesome hotel ever! Lazy to take more photos so I stole these off their website. Plus here are some of mine.     And under the tv...   Bunk beds I know but beggars can't be choosers.. Where else can you find such a cool hotel at 99$ a night at such a convenient location! |

I overheard someone teling someone else that the Walt Disney World Resort is 3x the size of Mahattan. Let me put this into perspective. Our hotel (one of more than ten) has ELEVEN BUILDINGS. You have to take buses everywhere. It takes virtually 20 mins to get to any theme park. We have two queen size beds but no fridge. There are more than 5 channels dedicated solely to promoting Disney resorts on tv but no Shotime for my Tudors. Bah. But it is comforting to switch tv channels and come across a familiar face. Who knew that at 11.30pm Pastor Prince would be on tv right here all the way in Orlando Florida? Its been almost a week and out Disney stint is almost over. Tomorrow Animal Kingdom? Check. Countless more rides Cody has to go on by himself because I (literally but more so figuratively) have no balls. A few days ago I went on this ride that was developed by NASA to simulate a real space shuttle take off and I tell you, G-force and I are no friends. It was the worst experience ever. Like that Toontown coaster 10 years ago. I was such a loser feeling all sick after. The only thing that could top that on the "most fucked up" list is the weather here. I actually miss Singapore weather. That is how bad it is. The sun is so mother scorching hot you could fry some bacon with a side of eggs on the sidewalk here. To think we still have 7 more sufferable days in this "Sunshine State". New York I cannot wait for your 15 degree weather (watch this space for I predict totally opposite whining a week from now). Shopping's pretty alright, we've been to two malls, where I bought close to nothing (except your birthday presentS miss sheryl lynn i-love-big-love teo). But I did score the Ralph Lauren knitted pullover I've been wanting for years at a fraction of the original cost in Singapore (whoo me). Well, here's to more sun and my ever growing pressed penny collection. |
